THE'Summer of the Spanish Forts it's in its second edition!
The great public success of last season leads us to work harder and harder to offer you the best and accompany your summer in Maremma in the wonderful setting of the Monte Argentario.
Here is the program of events and initiatives that we have thought up for you and that await you at the Fortresses of Porto Santo Stefano and of Porto Ercole.
From July 1st, the Fortresses will be open every day with the following hours:
Spanish Fortress of Porto Santo Stefano. From 6.30pm to 11.30pm.
Fort Stella of Porto Ercole. From 10.00 to 13.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00.
The weekly activities of the Fort Stella:
Free guided tours on Mondays and Fridays at 6:30 pm.
Environmental education workshops for children on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm.
The weekly activities of the Spanish Fortress:
Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:00 pm, free guided tours of the permanent exhibition "Submerged Memories" by Coopera Archaeologists.
Thursday at 7:00 pm Archaeological education workshops for the little ones.
As part of the calendar “Author's Saturday at the Fortress” in the months of June, July and August they will come to visit us on the ship of the Spanish Fortress of Porto Santo Stefano the great names of contemporary Italian literature to present their books, in collaboration with the bookshop Bastogi of Orbetello.
On June 18th we will host Sergio Rizzo who will present "The Facilitator" published by Feltrinelli.
On July 9th, we'll host Alessandro Vanoli, who will present "When the Stars Guided: A Sentimental Journey through the Mediterranean," published by Il Mulino.
On August 6th we will host Massimo Ammaniti who will present “La famiglia adolescenti” published by Laterza.
