There is a lazy Sicily, a frenetic one; one that exhausts itself in the anguish of material things, one that plays out life like a carnival script. One, finally, that leans over a ridge of wind in a fit of dazzling delirium.…
Gesualdo Bufalino
It was difficult to choose one quote, among the thousands that existed, that encapsulated our ideal of a guided trip to Sicily.
That of Gesualdo Bufalino, a great Sicilian poet and narrator, captures some of the island's key essences. Some of these are the underlying themes of our itineraries.
Designed and created in collaboration with a well-known Tour Operator from Grosseto, the Jabalì Travel, our partner for many years, our tours are accompanied by a Archaeologist born and raised in Sicily, who shares experiences, stories, language and cooking lessons, art, culture and Sicilian-ness with our travel companions.
