Sustainable Tourism

Strategies for the sustainable development of internal areas

Coopera is committed to developing strategies and projects dedicated to the tourism development of villages and inland areas, with an approach focused on sustainability, community participation, and territorial regeneration.
Starting by listening to places and people, we design solutions that transform small towns into welcoming destinations, attractive to informed visitors and temporary residents. We support the recovery of unused real estate, proposing models of widespread hospitality and forms of hospitality that strengthen the bond between those arriving and those who live in the area.

We contribute to the creation of multipurpose spaces, meeting places for local communities, tourists, new residents, and mobile professionals. We promote the creative use of public and private buildings to revitalize abandoned schools, former shops, historic residences, or rural properties.

We develop thematic itineraries, integrated tourism products, and transformative experiences that foster knowledge, a sense of belonging, and an appreciation of the value of places. Each project is designed to activate sustainable local development processes, networking cultural, environmental, and human resources.

Our primary objectives include strengthening the identity and visibility of inland areas. Combating depopulation through re-inhabitation models that include not only tourist stays but also medium- and long-term temporary residences. Fostering new local economies linked to culture, nature, and well-being. Facilitating the creation of hospitable communities, aware of their potential and committed to solidarity. Supporting areas in the transition to regenerative tourism models

With Coopera, tourism becomes a tool for social cohesion, territorial innovation And positive change, capable of generating real impact for communities and the environment.
