Between past and future.\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pratadimaremma.it\/\">For Prata. Between past and future.<\/a>\u201d who wanted to study the two existing mills in a state of ruin and propose a\u00a0<strong>visiting methods<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The remains of the mills are located in a <a title=\"path\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pratadimaremma.it\/#!luoghi\/vstc9=sentiero-mulini\">path<\/a> immersed in a splendid forest in the valley formed by the river <strong>Carsia<\/strong>, next to the <strong>medieval village of Prata<\/strong>.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/coop-era.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/muliniprata02.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/coop-era.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/muliniprata01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-416\" alt=\"muliniprata01\" src=\"http:\/\/coop-era.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/muliniprata01-300x224.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/coop-era.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/muliniprata01-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/coop-era.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/muliniprata01-1024x767.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/coop-era.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/muliniprata01.jpg 1063w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>From the 15th to the 18th century the entire territory of Prata was ceded to the <strong>Hospital of Santa Maria della Scala<\/strong> He built a farm there, primarily for livestock farming, and there is already mention of the presence of two mills with seasonal operations. In 1696, the two mills were granted by the Hospital on a permanent lease to a man from Prata, in exchange for an annual rent. Finally, in the 18th century <strong>Peter Leopold of Lorraine<\/strong> took over the entire complex.<\/p>\n<p>The study has brought to light the <strong>historical and naturalistic potential<\/strong> of the site and the possibility of creating a visitor route once the monumental evidence has been secured.<\/p>\n<p>In general, the proposed interventions aim to slow and halt the main degradation processes affecting the mills&#039; architecture, preventing further deterioration, and improving visitor safety, the monument&#039;s readability, and consequently, the understanding of human influences on the landscape by a lay public.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/coop-era.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/muliniprata02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" alt=\"muliniprata02\" src=\"http:\/\/coop-era.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/muliniprata02-224x300.jpg\" width=\"224\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Coopera ha realizzato, nell\u2019ambito della progettualit\u00e0 per valorizzare i siti archeologici, uno studio per il consolidamento e la possibilit\u00e0 di rendere visitabile il \u201cSentiero dei Mulini di\u00a0Prata&#8221; (Massa Marittima, Gr). \u00a0 Il lavoro \u00e8 stato commissionato dall\u2019Associazione \u201cPer Prata.
