It is true that there are many Sicilies, I will never finish counting them.<\/em><\/p>\n

There is the green Sicily of the carob tree, the white one of the salt pans, the yellow one of the sulfur, the blonde one of the honey, the purple one of the lava. There is a lazy Sicily, a frenetic one; one that exhausts itself in the anguish of material things, one that plays out life like a carnival script. One, finally, that leans over a ridge of wind in a fit of dazzling delirium.<\/em>…<\/p>\n

It was difficult to choose one quote, among the thousands that existed, that encapsulated our ideal of a guided trip to Sicily.<\/p>\n

That of Gesualdo Bufalino<\/a>, a great Sicilian poet and narrator, captures some of the island's key essences. Some of these are the underlying themes of our itineraries.<\/p>\n

Departure is from the airport of Rome Fiumicino<\/strong> and the arrival is, usually \u00a0Palermo<\/strong>Over the course of a week, a private coach takes us to discover the main and most incredible views of the island.
