Archeoreading – “Once Upon a Time in Maremma” It is a project designed for younger students, with the aim of introducing children to world of reading and of ours oral tradition, formed in Maremma from a rich and complex substrate of fairy tales and legends linked to our history and the environmental peculiarities of our territory. Therefore, an introduction to reading but also and above all knowledge of local history and traditions.
The idea was born from the desire to make this fascinating world accessible to younger generations through direct and interactive stimuli, guiding children to discover the past of our land and its folklore.
During the workshops the children will listen to a selection of legends, set in different historical periods, and will be able to identify with the characters and the settings. At the end of the reading, interpreted by one of our operators, the Boys they will in fact try to reconstruct the historical context social and geographical context of the stories and will give new life to the characters through the manipulation of sheets, cardboard, colors, and fabrics.
The project aims to make students relive the history of the territory through the filter of the local cultural heritage, stimulating the fantasy, theimagination and the creativity of the boys.
